A New customer was introduced to from an existing contact as due to increased volumes to process he was looking to upgrade his McCloskey 407R trommel screen for a 3-way split scalping screen.


New customer referral:


We received a new customer referral from a long standing customer of ours, who had a client that was looking to upgrade his McCloskey 407R trommel screen for a 3-way split scalping screen.


We spoke with the customer and discussed what size screen he would need that would suit multiple variables such as the application, what tonnage he needed to produce, how much space he had in his yard and a rough budget.


Once we had all of the information that we needed, we got to work and searched the market and found him a used 2017 Powerscreen Warrior 600. This machine was in budget and we agreed a deal to sell this machine to him and take his existing trommel in part exchange. 


Once we took the McCloskey 407R Trommel into stock we advertised this on all our social media platforms promoting our brand. 


Having seen our advertisment we made a new contact with a customer from Ireland. We had a few discussions about the machine and qualified the machine was right for the application and the amount of use he needed it for. 


We sent videos and photos of the machine running and of all the parts they wanted to specifically see. Having satisfied the customer this was the right machine for the application, we agreed a deal and a low loader was sent across to our machine yard where we loaded up the machine and it was returned to its new home to another satisfied customer.
